Description

It is an exclusive small group tour. The displacement will be fast, to maximize the time of our scale. This is a tour recommended mainly to passengers who already know Rome and who want to enjoy a cultural day.
We will walk from the port next to our assistant, in the direction of the Civitavecchia train station to catch the train to Rome. This walk takes approximately 25 minutes.
Accommodated in a fast train, in less than 45 minutes we will arrive at Rome, San Pedro station. Upon arrival of our train the guide awaits us. From here, this magnificent tour will start in the direction of the Vatican Museums.Having reserved a turn to visit the Vatican museums, we will not have to queue.
Vatican is the smallest state in the world and yet, within its smallness it houses innumerable treasures. This tour is a true experience, spiritual and cultural, reserved mainly for those who already know Rome and wish to deepen their knowledge of the heritage that the City of the Pope has, or for those who dream of visiting the epicenter of Christianity.Within the Vatican state we will make four essential visits:
The Vatican Museums: Large rooms with works of art of all time, among which is; the Tapestry gallery and the Maps gallery, the Candelabra gallery, the Pio V Hall and the Vasari Room (in case there is a lot of influx, the Museum itself can vary the route). We will visit the Sistine Chapel, decorated by the renowned artist Michelangelo and world famous for being the venue for the election of the Popes. (In the Chapel it is forbidden to speak, make photographs or videos). the Basilica of San Pedro (entrance without tail): It is the most important church in the Catholic world and spiritual center, as well as being a sample of art, culture and power. The most important artists of the Renaissance and Baroque eras contributed to the realization of this unique work, which houses the famous Pieta by Michelangelo among others. The Statues of St. Peter on his throne, the Baldachin of Bernini and the Tombs of Saints John XXIII and John Paul II.
We will go to Plaza San Pedro: designed by the great Gian Lorenzo Bernini, with its rows of columns that welcome, as in a maternal hug to the faithful and visitors.
At the end of the visit we will say goodbye to our guide and continue in the company of our assistant. We will enjoy free time in the surroundings to eat something typical or do some shopping. There we will find numerous shops and cafes.
Our assistant will accompany us back to the port of Civitavecchia for the farewell.
