Located in an enviable enclave, Alesund is the largest city on the northwest coast of Norway, enjoying dreamy landscapes and unique architecture. A large part of Alesund was destroyed by fire in 1904 and rebuilt in ART NOUVEAU style, typical art from the first decade of the 20th century. We head to Norddalsfjord, to the fertile fairy valley of Valldal, known for its strawberry production, where we will enjoy its spectacular views and, after passing through a mountain of perpetual snow, we reach the Trollstigen 850 meters above sea level . We will stop at the top to take photos and we will have the possibility of having a drink in the cafeteria if they wish (eventual supplements are not included in the price of the excursion). We continue our descent along the Trollstigen road or the troll staircase, a spectacular mountain road considered a masterpiece of Norwegian engineering, which exceeds almost 800 meters of altitude. Here we will make a stop at the impressive Stigefossen waterfall and Trollwall, which is the highest and steepest wall in all of Europe with its 1000 meters high. We drive through Romsdalsfjord back to Alesund enjoying the scenic surroundings with its natural wonders and picturesque villages, before returning to the ship
At the end of the excursion, return to the boat and farewell.
