We will leave in the direction of the city of Stockholm. In this excursion we will be able to enjoy the most fascinating attractions of Stockholm. During the visit we will visit some of the fourteen islands where this beautiful city is built. We will make a stop to take photos in Fjällgatan, where we will be able to contemplate the beautiful panoramic view of the Baltic Sea.
We will go to the Stockholm City Hall to enjoy the outside visit and appreciate its architecture. This is located by the lake, erecting itself as a Venetian Palace. Opened in 1923, it is one of the most characteristic buildings of its style in the city and it is here that the Nobel Prize Banquet takes place every December 10.
We will also make an outside visit to the Royal Palace, located in Gamla Stan, the old part of the city, legacy of the Italian Baroque and the King’s workplace. With six hundred and eight rooms, the Royal Palace is the largest in the world used by a monarch today, King Carl XVI Gustav.
During our tour of Skeppsbron, a wide avenue, we will admire the 17th century buildings built by the wealthy merchants of the time. We head towards Djurgården Island, passing through the elegant area of the city with its shops and malls.
The tour will be by coach, with stops for photos. Then there will be a short walk through the cradle of the city “El Casco Antiguo”.
After the guided tour we give you free time of approx 1 hour in the historic center before returning to the port and farewell.
If the cruise reaches Stadsgården and not Stockholm, the distance to the center is greater and the length of free time may vary.
